The UK distributor for Yokohama tyres and TSW and MAK alloy wheels, Yokohama HPT Ltd, has announced that it has been selected as the sole British distributor for Advanti replacement alloy wheels. While the name Advanti may be a new one to the UK replacement wheel market, the company is no stranger to designing and producing the highest standards of wheels.
The Advanti range is already well known in one of the harshest motorsport environments, Formula One, where the Torro Rosso team uses the company's products on their F1 cars. Now, F1 technology and know-how is available for the UK wheel replacement market as Yokohama HPT will be stocking a range of Advanti alloys, recognised for their cutting edge styling, motorsport pedigree and low weight.
The SG40 design, for example, stands out from the crowd, since in addition to its ten-spoke design, the colour coded centre and rim sections ensure individuality for any owner. The SG40 is available now in both black with a red rim, as well as silver. It comes in a range of sizes, from 6.5x15in to 8x18in and four and five-stud fitments.
The S901 is sure to raise eyebrows, with its double styling cues. It features four sets of 'snake-tongue' double spokes, each running to the inside of the wheel rim and finished in black. Separating each set of paired spokes is a single version, running from the central mounting flange almost to the outer edge of the wheel rim. These single spokes are machine cut on their face, as well as the lug where they meet the wheel rim while the very edge of the rim is also machine cut, lightening the overall black finish and providing a unique effect. It is available in 6.5x15in and 7x17in sizes.
The S902 is effectively a five-stud fitment version of the S901, featuring five paired snake-tongue spokes, separated by five machine-cut spokes running to the wheel rim. The S901 is sized at 7x17in only. Both the S901 and the S902 are also extremely lightweight, with the 7x17in versions weighing just 7.5Kg each, excellent news for performance enthusiasts and motorsport users, cutting rotational inertia and helping to reduce unsprung weight with improvements in suspension response.
The S911 is a motorsport-inspired wheel through and through. It features multiple spokes running from the central mounting flange, which also features the Advanti Racing logo, to the very edge of the wheel rim. The wheel is finished in gloss black with a red undercut lip to ensure that the S911 will stand out on any car. The S911 is available in sizes from 6.5x15in to 7.5x18in.
